Sign smudged!
Edited: MySafetySign worked with me on a new order by offering a 15% discount on my entire new order. While I thought they should have done more for the damaged sign, I appreciated them at least responding. Thank you.
I have ordered many different signs from this company, recommended them many times to friends and neighbors and previously had a great experience, until now.
One of my indoor engraved plastic signs became delaminated & smudged. Adhesive got on the sign and when I recently tried to remove it with alcohol, the sign smudged. The sign is indoors so I had no expectation that sign durability would be an issue. The sign looks terrible but they denied my request because it was purchased over a year ago. This was a problem this week for us, not last year. UPDATE: They outright refused my request. This is a problem for me today...not last year!!!
I sent several emails and received no response so I finally called them yesterday. I explained what happened and sent in a photo; my request for a replacement sign was refused the same day.
It's crazy how one bad experience can wipe out all the good.....I am a repeat customer with another order in my cart and they wouldn't work with me. Instead they offered a 10% discount....the same discount they were offering on their website anyway. It was insulting.
I am disappointed I had to write this review, but they still have a chance to keep me as a customer. I valued them as a small business and took it for granted they valued me as a customer. I hope this review results in something positive; all they have to do is acknowledge what happened and stand behind their product.
