Projecting signs are noticeable from two directions. Flat, along-the-wall signs are not suitable when you approach the message from an angle.
- Make sure that everyone knows where the fire extinguisher is.
- Prevent people from congesting the area around the extinguisher - in an emergency this could hinder access to equipment and decrease safety.
