Samples are great, poor customer service
In theory this seems like a great idea get several samples see what you really want, the samples came great I picked a color and want to place my order. Your site said I'll be credited for the samples when I order. It's a small amount of money but if you're advertising you'll get that back, make the process easy. I tried to call sat on hold while the phone rang for a minute before hanging up, saw they have a chat, great. Got in the chat, Steve: hold on let me check on that ... yes we will reimburse you. Me: Ok how does this happen when I order or will I get a credit on my credit card? Steve: When you order. Me: Ok how do I get this discount when I order? Steve: We'll have to contact you, what's your name and phone number.
WHAT!! This is stuff you should know if you're interacting with customers, come on. The conversation should have been how do I get the discount. Oh, you just have to put this promo code in as you place your order, or put the directions right on your site! Instead it was like pulling teeth to get information and in the end I didn't get the real information. XpressMats just lost a $570 sale with the good probability to make another $375 order after I got the first mat. If Steve could have given me an answer or if I would have gotten a call within an hour I would have purchased, poor customer service lost this sale. Plenty of companies sell WaterHog mats.
