False Advertising and Horrible Customer Service
While the plaque itself is nice, the issues with this product and company are numerous. 1) The product listing shows a stake that attaches to both points on the plaque. 2) The product listing shows hardware for connecting a stake at 2 - not 1 - connection points on the plaque. You receive hardware for connecting the stake at 2 connection points. 3) The included instruction manual has instructions for connecting the stake at 2 - not 1 - connection points. 4) The item they send you does NOT include the advertised stake. It's a stake that can only be attached to the bottom hole in the plaque, which leaves the plaque flimsy and cheap looking. When you reach out to the company about this issue, they'll direct to you pictures of a sign you did not order - pictures not from the listing - and direct you to instructions for how to attach the stake to only 1 connection point on the plaque. They will admit the plaque and stake "might not be the same exact sign" but will then gaslight you as if you're confused by how to attach the incorrect stake they do send you to the plaque, while ignoring the false advertising and lower quality item you've been sent. When you ask them to correct the issue by sending you the correct stake or processing a refund, the gaslighting will continue. When they eventually relent, they'll tell you that you can return the item if you pay for return shipping and a 25% restocking fee. Ultimately I had to file a dispute with my card servicer to rectify the issue. So in summation, if you want to order an item but not receive the item you actually ordered, have the company gaslight you, and tell you that you need to pay them to rectify their mistake, go ahead and order. If not, I'd suggest you buy a sign from Etsy instead and don't give this bait-and-switch company your business.
