We are using them on wood floors as place holders. Instead of sticking them directly to the floor, we stuck them onto thin rug pads and cut them to shape.
They work very well! No slipping, no rolling edges, and easy to walk/roll across.
I've only had them installed for a day, but they look nice and feel nice. I really needed signs designed for commercial low-pile carpet, but these are all they had in the 9" size. I hope they'll stay put. Time will tell.

We ordered the handicap stickers for our church sanctuary. We did not want them permanently placed on the carpet so we bought a mat and then placed the sticker on the mat.
